CHENNAI: Joshana Chinappa was crowned the national champion for the 16th time on Sunday when she defeated edged out Urwashi Joshi 9-11, 11-1, 11-6, 11-5. With her win, Joshana equalled the hitherto women’s record of 16 titles that Bhuvaneswari Kumari had won earlier.
